I am an artist who turned to painting as an outlet for my creativity, especially after being diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia (TN). This condition deeply influences my work, which often reflects the pain, fear, and struggles associated with chronic illness. My abstract paintings depict these emotions, with one piece illustrating the contrast between pain and hope, featuring the Isle of Skye in the background—a place dear to my heart.
Before my diagnosis, I was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed scuba diving, biking, and exploring new places. I even purchased an old school bus with plans to convert it into a motorhome. However, TN significantly impacted my ability to engage in these activities, leading me to find new ways to express myself through art.
I am proud to support my talented daughter, Grace, in her artistic journey and encourage her passion. My journey has been challenging, but I remain optimistic for the future, especially after successfully undergoing microvascular decompression surgery.
Thank you for your support as I continue to share my experiences.
