Sparky Meets Florida

Cedrick Frazier is a gifted multi‑instrumentalist, composer, producer, and vocal coach whose life reflects a powerful blend of artistic mastery, community service, and personal resilience. A native of Brunswick, Georgia, Cedrick discovered his musical talent early, beginning piano at age five and later falling in love with the trumpet after hearing Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good.” Encouraged by his grandmother, Dollie‑Mae Bennett, and his mother, Janice Frazier, he grew into a versatile musician proficient in trumpet, baritone, tuba, French horn, flugelhorn, piano, organ, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and drums.

Cedrick entered the gospel music scene in 1984 as a pianist for the House of God Church, launching a lifelong commitment to using music as a force for unity, fellowship, and service. Over the years, he has partnered with community organizations, served as a Minister of Music, musical director, and choir director, and supported countless performers and speakers. His professional path also includes a decade of meritorious service as a Sergeant with the Glynn County Sheriff’s Department, reflecting his dedication to uplifting and protecting his community.

His musical influences span legends such as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, as well as modern innovators like Timberland, Missy Elliott, and Metro Boomin. Cedrick’s philosophy is grounded in excellence, discipline, and spiritual responsibility — believing that those who excel have an obligation to elevate the people and organizations around them.

Cedrick also lives with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a rare and often debilitating facial pain disorder. Instead of allowing the condition to limit his purpose, he turns to music as both refuge and resilience. Music becomes his therapy, his grounding force, and his way of transforming pain into purpose. Through composition, performance, and teaching, Cedrick channels his experience into deeper empathy, patience, and connection with others — especially those facing invisible battles of their own.

Light‑hearted, easy‑going, and deeply professional, Cedrick continues to serve as a mentor, coach, and creative force. His mission is clear: to use his gifts to empower others, build community, and create spaces where music becomes a source of healing, hope, and strength.
